Twin4Twin at ETCEI 2025
On October 24–25, 2025, Twin4Twin partners proudly participated in the Emerging Tech Conference “Edge Intelligence” (ETCEI 2025) — a premier event bringing together experts, researchers, and industry leaders to explore cutting-edge advancements in AI at the edge, intelligent systems, smart energy, and innovation management.
Our partners Michael Mayr (SCCH) and Ioannis Meintanis (CORE IC) showcased groundbreaking Twin4Twin research through both paper and poster presentations.
Michael Mayr presented the paper “An Integrated Digital Twin Architecture for Laser Powder Bed Fusion Processes: Fusing Physics-based Simulations with AI” during Session S2.3: Intelligent Devices, Circuits & Architectures.
Ioannis Meintanis presented the poster “A Methodology and Replication Roadmap for Designing Digital Twins in Additive Manufacturing” during the Parallel Poster & Paper Presentations session.
The conference was co-organized by HETiA, the University of West Attica, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and the National Technical University of Athens, highlighting strong collaboration between academia, research, and industry in shaping the future of emerging technologies. The event took place at the University of West Attica – Ancient Olive Grove Campus.
