Gender Equality Workshop by CORE IC

The Twin4Twin Project successfully concluded its final workshop with an impactful Gender Equality Workshop hosted at CORE IC and presented by Maria Gkini.

This engaging, data-driven session marked an important moment for the project, reinforcing its mission to promote inclusion, knowledge-sharing, and sustainable change across partner organizations.

Workshop Focus Areas

Participants explored key aspects of gender equality through a structured and insightful agenda, including:

  • Essential terms and definitions to build a common understanding

  • In-depth global and local statistics, highlighting current realities and trends

  • An overview of the legal framework, alongside celebrating CORE IC’s achievement of a 50–50 gender balance

  • Identification of common challenges, supporting the development of a shared future vision and concrete goals

The workshop encouraged open dialogue and reflection, empowering participants to translate data and insights into meaningful action.
